Head for Solo city tour visiting royal Mangkunegaran Palace, a complex which blends European elegance with Javanese architectural style and with its fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewelry and wooden mask, and visit Triwindu Flea Market. Then driving eastward to explore the lovely countryside to discover the most mysterious and atmospheric ancient sites of Sukuh temple. This temple is quite different in style from many of the other Hindu shrines in Central Java. Dating from the 15th century, it more resembles the architecture of the Incas, situated in the slope of mount Lawu over 900 m above sea level. Next we go up a scenic, winding mountain road to another Hindu temple at Cetho to enjoy the beauty of its peaceful surrounding.
