Darjeeling Himalayan Rail Morning Tour

Enjoy the famous joy ride with Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. The Tour is for half day where you will be picked from hotel and we will transfer you to Darjeeling Railway Station. The train starts from Darjeeling station and takes you to Ghum (India's highest Railway station and World's 2nd highest railway stations) stopping in Batasia Loop. After visiting Ghum you return to Darjeeling station.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway was built between 1879 and 1881 and it is still powered by Steam Engine. Years come years ago, a new generation take to modernization and with this comes a new wave of change but Toy Train of Darjeeling still remains as appealing as before and more so Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a dream project of Franklin Prestage and most popularly known by the name «Toy Train» has today become a travellers destination, poet's inspiration, lover's paradise, movie maker's favourite shooting spot and a pride of Himalayas.
Listed a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. Toy Train has never ceased to etch itself on the consciousness of travellers capturing their imagination and fuelling their curiosity about Himalayas.

Trip Details

9:00hrs — Pick up from hotel and transfer you to Darjeeling Station. Enjoy the beautiful view of himalayas from Darjeeling Raiway station. 

10:00hrs —  Ride from Darjeeling station and will stop in Batasia Loop. The train take a circular path to gain the height of the reach Ghum station. The train will stop in Batasia Loop for photography and other acitivities. You can see a clear view of the Himalayas from Batasi Loop. 

11:00hrs- You will reach Ghum station.  Free time to visit DHR Museum & liesure.

11:30hrs- Return drive to Darjeeling. 

12:00hrs- Tour ends.
