What's Included?

The safari begins from Manali to one of the remotest regions of Himachal Pradesh including the scintillating Spiti Valley & Kinnaur.

Highest Altitude Gained: At Kunzum La Pass (4,558m)

Day 1: Manali - Rohatang Pass - Chatru - Kunzum La - Kaza

Drive Along Beas rive to one of its source at Rohtang Pass(3980mtrs) and descend down to Gramphu. From here onward the dirt road follows the Chandra River upstream through seasonal settlement of Chatru to kunzum La. On route we appreciate the wild scenery and hanging Glacier and 6000 meters. Peaks. The Bara Shigri Glacier one of the largest and Most impressive in the Indian himalayas. One can have have magnificent views of White Sail and Devachan Massif from Batal before ascending to Kunzum La (4550mtrs) - The gateway to Spiti Valley.The road descends down more or less all the way to Kaza-headquarter of Spiti Valley.

Day 2: Local Sight Seeing Tour in Kaza

Morning visit the famous Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza.
This century - old Gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead.

Over Night stay at Hotel/Home Stay

Day 3: Kaza - Dhankar - Tabo (58 Kms)

Travel by surface from Kaza to Tabo Enroute visiting Pin Valley, Kungri Monastery, Dhankar Monastery. On arrival check in at guest house. Evening visit Tabo Monastery which was founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images – and is often called "The Ajanta of the Himalayas"

Overnight at Hotel / Home stay.

Day 4: Tabo - Nako - Kalpa (195 Kms 7-8 hrs)

Travel by surface from Tabo to Nako which is located by the banks of lake. Visit the monastery and walk around Village. Later continue drive Enroute viewing confluence of Satluj & Spiti Rivers at Khab. Kalpa village is located in backdrop of Kenner Kailash mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of day free to explore Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.

Overnight at Hotel/ Home Stay.

Day 5: Kalpa - Sangla (51 Kms 2 hrs)

Travel by surface from Kalpa to Sangla Enroute visiting Kamru Fort & village. On arrival in Sangla set up camp. Overnight in tents at Sangla.

Day 6: Sangla

The Picturesque town of Sangla located on the Banks of the famous Baspa River provides an Ideal location for Adventure Activities as well as visit to Chitkul Village. Sangla homes some ancient monasteries and temples worth a peek. The tents will be prepared at Sangla along with the bonfire depending on weather conditions.

Day 7: Sangla - Sarahan (92 Kms 4 hrs)

Drive to Sarahan which is approximately 92 Kms from Sangla. The Journey offers a display of true Kinnauri landscapes and vegetation. The village of Sarahan has some spectacular attractions making it a must visit location. The tents will be definitely set up along with a charming bonfire if willed by the Gods.

Day 8: Sarahan - Shimla (184 Kms 6 hrs)

Drive from Sarahan to Shimla which is approximately a distance of 184 Kms. After the tiring drive, a nice cozy room at the Hotel East Bourne awaits you and a much needed rest lures you into a rejuvenating rest. Enroute the stop at the attractive town of Rampur will stimulate your explorer enzymes. End of the tours.

Exclusions

• Any Kind of Personal expenses like, Tips, Insurance, Laundry, Phone Calls etc.
• The Services of Vehicle is not included on leisure days & after finishing the sightseeing tour as per the Itinerary.
• Any Kind of Drinks (Alcoholic, Mineral, soft or hard drinks, starters).
• Monastery entrance fees, camera fee if applicable and Guide services.

NOTE :- Please read carefully before making Payment
All correspondence for travel arrangements should be addressed to Glacial Adventures. For the services contracted, 50% advance payment should be made for confirmation of booking & the balance amount can be paid upon arrival in India or before check in hotel (before the commencement of the services).

Glacial Adventures hold the right to decide on the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of service & the time left for the commencement of the service. Besides above, in certain cases like Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season or during fairs/festivals, full payment may be required in order to hold space CONFIRMED BASIS.
Please note that such payments are NON REFUNDABLE.

Advance payment can be made through WIRE TRANSFER to our bank,or by CASH that could be deposited in any of our accounts. Upon arrival in INDIA, the payment can be made in cash

TRANSFER FROM ONE TOUR TO ANOTHER
A transfer from one tour to another of the originally booked tour will be treated as a cancellation on that tour, thereby attracting the cancellation charges as stated in these terms and a fresh booking on another.

BOOKING & PAYMENT CONDITIONS
For booking confirmation, need to pay 50% amount in company account by Checque/Cash/Net banking in our company account. Remaining amount should be paid at the time of check in at hotel.

PREPONE AND POSTPONE
For postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to be inform us at least 7 days prior of tour date.

INR 3000/- will be charged extra for prepone/postpone.

AMENDMENTS / CANCELLATIONS
If the Client is willing to amend or cancel his/her booking because of whatsoever reasons including death, accident, illness, or any other personal reasons including non-payment of the balance payment, the Company is liable to recover Cancellation charges from the Client.All cancellations are to be communicated in written and advance amount is non refundable, besides the forfeiture of the deposit amount of the tour, a further charge will be levied as follows:-
30 days prior to departure of the tour, advance amount is non refundable, advance will be charged.
30 days to 15 days prior to departure of the tour 50% of total tour cost.
14 days to 07 days prior to departure of the tour 75% of total tour cost.
07 days to 01 days prior to departure of the tour 100% of total tour cost.
There will be no refund for NO SHOWS.

Any amendment in the original booking has to be given to us in writing. All changes will be processed only after the receipt of the same by the Company. However, if any of the amendment requests results in cancellation of one or more services, then the Company is liable to recover cancellation charges as indicated in the above-mentioned table.

The above-mentioned cancellation charges are applicable only against the main Tour and optional tours published by the Company. If the Client has booked any other services such as air / train tickets or any third party product, then the Company is liable to recover cancellation charges as per cancellation terms of respective airline / railways or the cancellation terms of respective third party. The Company is also liable to recover its service charges against booking and cancelling such services for the Client.
