Himachal Pradesh is a state in north-western India, and offers much for those looking to experience the Himalayas. While it does not claim the highest peaks in the range, there is plenty to do aside from mountaineering. Its name literally means "Abode of Snow". Himachal Pradesh is famous for its natural beauty, hill stations, and temples.

Day 1: Chandigarh - Shimla

On arrival at Chandigarhi Airport/Railway Station from there you will meet and assist by our representative and now you will ready to “Hit the Queen of Hills”. Drive to Shimla. (113 km, 04 hours journey). Travelling Shimla is very exciting as it covers a few popular Temples (Tara Devi and Sankatmochan Temples )on the way. On arrival at Shimla check in to hotel.

Shimla:
Shimla is located at about 115km from Chandigarh. Shimla formerly known as Shimla, it is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, located in northern India. It is well-connected to Delhi by roadways and railways. However, the best way to travel from Delhi to Shimla is by car, a journey of around 6 to 8 hours. Some of the important places covered on the way are Chandigarh --> Pinjore Garden --> Panchkula - -> Solan - -> Shimla. On the route, several petrol pumps of Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and HP, apart from hospitals and pharmacies, ATMs and road-side dhabas are located.

Day 2: Shimla Local Temples

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to to Jakhoo Temple. Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to Hindu deity, Hanuman. Afternoon move to Kali Ka Tibba at Chail .It's a Kali Mata mandir located on top of a hill. It gives 360° view of the surrounding area with the snow clad mountains in the backdrop.After visiting the Kali ka tibba Temple will moving back to hotel.

Day 3: Shimla - Manali via Kullu Valley

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Manali. On the way to Manali you will visit Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh dam, Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu.

On Route:
Start early from Shimla so you can spend more time on the way towards Manali and reach before Dark. At 105 KM from Shimla you will reach Bilaspur. After Bilaspur you will reach Harabag , this is the lunch point and you will see many restaurants , Dhabas & also HPMC Juice Factory at right side and after that at your left side you will see SunderNagar Lake. Photography is not allowed here. After 12 Km you will visit Pandoh Dam at your right side. You will climb up the hill and to your right the total dam view will be visible. Photography is not allowed here. Further 12 KM you will get Anokhi Mata temple. River Beas will be at your right. Further 22 KM from here you will reach Aut town and before that you will pass through a 2.8 KM long tunnel. Just before entering the tunnel the right side road will take you to Jalori pass.

Day 4: Manali Local

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to local sightseeing tour, visit "Hidimbi Devi Temple" landmark of Manali, also known variously as the "Hadimba Temple". It was built in 1553 and an enormous rock occupies the inside of the temple, only a 7.5 cm (3 inch) tall brass image representing goddess Hidimbi Devi. Next is "club house" The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and "Vashisth" famous for its hot springs.

Manali:
Manali is the most favorite destination of tourists from nearby areas as well as from distance places. The hill station – Manali is blessed with nature’s finest gifts. The enchanting valley is so picturesque that it has earned the name. On your 4th day of tour you will visit "Vashisth" Vashist, a small village 3 kms from Manali located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali. After that you will proceed towards its Hot Water Springs and Temple. The village is also the site of some old temples, dedicated to the great sage Vashisht, and to Lord Rama. The Himachal Tourism sulphur baths are just beyond these shrines. Natural Hot Sulphur Water Springs with two separate bathing tanks for Gents and Ladies, which are always full of tourists. Turkish Style Showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing.

The beauty of Van Vihar will completely bedazzle you. Away from the hustle bustle of the busy market, this protected piece of land is maintained by government authorities. The vast forest area has a children's park complete with swings and slides and a small man made pond for boating. Perfect for a luxurious walk amidst nature or a warm afternoon enjoying the soft chattering of birds, the Van Vihar is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. If you are in the mood for a little adventure, you could also head down to the rocks along the river and enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet. If you are here in the evening, you can catch some breathtaking views of the setting sun with the majestic mountains serving as the perfect backdrop.

The Tibetans living around these Monasteries in Manali offer a wide range of Tibetan Handicrafts and Carpets to the visitors to buy. Two of these Monasteries are located in the main down-town of Manali and one Monastery in Aleo. Aleo is located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali. After that visit include Roller Sketing Rink, An Auditorium, Billiards Rooms, A Library, A Bar and Restaurants & Club House.

Later on you will visit Hadimba Devi Temple. Hadimba Devi Temple is dedicated to the wife of Bhim, one of the five Pandava brothers in the Indian epic Mahabharata. As the legend goes, Bhim married Hadimba and they had a son. Later on, Hadimba left the place and became a spiritual. The people later erected a temple in her respect, known as Hadimba Temple. The temple is in pagoda style and comprises no idol within, albeit, some footprints are engraved and are worshiped by devotees. Letter on you will visit Manu Temple. The Temple is dedicated to the Indian Sage Manu who is said to be creator of the World and the writer of Manusmriti. This temple is considered as only Manu temple on earth and most of the tourist came to see this Mythical Temple. For Tourists, this temple is must go place and other places can miss, but this can't be.

Day 5: Manali - Dharmshala

After breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Dharamshala. On the way will visit Baijnath Temple and Chamunda Devi. The very famous ancient temple of Lord Shiva (Baijnath) is situated here giving the town its name. The holy temple of Mata Chamunda ji. Chamunda Devi Temple is a renowned holy shrine of the Hindus. Located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, On arrival check in at hotel. Evening half day city tour visit, Dal Lake, St. John's Church and local market.

Day 6: Dharamshala - McLeod Ganj

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Bhgshunag Temple and Katayini Devi . The temple was built by King Bhagsu and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The pools around this temple are believed to be sacred and contain miraculous powers of healing. Katyayani is the sixth form amongst Navadurga or the nine forms of Hindu goddess Parvati (Shakti), worshipped during the Navratri celebrations.In evening will moving back to hotel and have

Day 7: Dharamshala - Kangra Temples

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit to Chamunda you will visit Chamunda Devi Temple,after visiting the temple drive to Kangra (25 KM 40 Min) for visit Brejeshvari Devi Temple. After taking Darshan of Brijeshwari drive to Baglamukhi Temple (25 KM 40 min). After visiting temple drive to Jwala ji (26 KM 40 Min) on arrival check into hotel & overnight stay at hotel.

Chamunda:
In Hinduism, Chamunda or Chamunda is an aspect of Devi, the supreme mother goddess. The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters which Devi killed.

The famous temple of Ma Chamunda is in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is around 10 km west of Palampur, on the Baner river. Around 400 years ago the king and a Brahmin priest prayed to Devi for permission to move the temple tosome easily accessible location. Devi appeared to the priest in a dream giving her consent. She directed him to dig in a certain spot and an ancient idol would befound and that idol should be installed in the temple and worshipped as Her form.

Brejesshvari Devi Temple:
The Brejesshvari Devi temple, located in the old Kangra Township, is said to have been built over the charred breasts of Sati. This shrine, once renown for its great wealth, has been plundered relentlessly over the ages.The first of the plunderers was Mahmud of Ghazni, who looted it in 1009. A mosque was builton the ruins and a garrison was left behind. 35 years later, the local king regained its possession. The shrine was repaired and a replica of the idol was enshrined.The temple was filled with gold, silver and diamonds only to be ransacked again in 1360 by Firoz Tughlaq. Later Emperor Akbar visited the shrine with his Dewan, Todar Mal and restored it to its former grandeur. The temple was razed to theground by an earthquake in 1905, but a new one came up the very same year, thanks to the Kangra Restoration Committee

Bagla Mukhi:
Bagalamukhi" is derived from "Bagala" (distortion of the original Sanskrit root "valgā") and "mukha", meaning "bridle" and "face", respectively. Thus, the name means one whose face has the power to capture or control. She thus represents the hypnotic power of the Goddess. Another interpretation translates her name as "crane faced".

Day 8: Jawala ji - Chandigarh

Early morning check out from the hotel and drive to Jwalamukhi Temple , after visit the temple drive to Chintpurni ( 40 km, 50 min) for visit Chhinnamastika Devi Temple. After visit temple drive to Chandigarh by 12 noon and drop at Airport/ Railway Station to catch your onwards flight / Train & return to home with Sweet memories.

Jwalamukhi:
Jwalamukhi is a famous temple to the goddess Jwalamukhi, the deity of flaming mouth. Raja Bhim Chand Katoch of Kangra, a great devotee of goddess Durga, dreamt of the sacred place and the Raja set people to find out the whereabouts of the site. The site was traced and the Raja built a temple at that location.[3] The building is modern with a gilt dome and pinnacles, and possesses a beautiful folding door of silver plates. Under the gaze of the Dhauladhar range and set amidst the undulating hills that character sub-Himalayan Himachal Sati's tongue is believed to have fallen at Jwalamukhi and the goddess is manifest as tiny flames that burn a flawless blue through fissures in the age old rock.

Chintpurni:
Pandit Mai Das Kalia Sara swat Brahman, is generally believed to have established this shrine to Mata Chintpurni Devi in Chhaproh village twenty-six generations ago. Over time this village becameknown as Chintpurni after the eponymous deity. His descendants still live in Chintpurni and perform archana and puja at the Chintpurni temple.
