Jama Masjid
Jama Masjid — Jama Masjid is one of the prevalent and oldest mosques of Ahmedabad. In 1423, it was built by Ahmed Shah just close to Mahatma Gandhi Road, facing to the east of the Teen Darwaza. It has a roof, supporting by 260 columns. This mosque is located on the rescued land after the demolition of Hindu and Jain temples.
Hathsingh Jain Temples
Hathsingh Jain Temples — Renowned for its absolute marvelous architecture style and carvings, Hathee Singh temple is open for all religions. It was founded by Seth Hathee Singh, a successful Jain merchant in the year 1850 AD.
Gandhi Ashram
Gandhi Ashram: Gandhi Ashram or Sabarmati Ashram is very popular religious building, sited at the edge of River Sabarmati, next to Ashram Road in the Ahmedabad city. On 25 May 1915, Jivanlal Desai was built it at the Kocharab Bungalow. On 17 June 1917, this ashram was moved to a piece of unsheltered land for some living experiments by Mahatma Gandhi. Or you can say that this barren land was occupied in cultivating, animal husbandry, cow reproduction and so many productive things.
Adalaj Stepwell
Adalaj Stepwell — At a distance of 18 km to the north, The Adalaj step-well is a remarkably popular tourist destination of Ahmedabad. Conceived in 1499 A.D by Queen Rudabai, this stepwell is tremendously carved, embodying lots of history behind it. On the walls and pillars, one will witness wonderful collection of displays- leaves, flowers, birds, fish and other magnificent captivating designs.
