

Day 1: Iceland road
Morning transfer via chartered bus (if requested and paid in advance) from Reykjavik city hall to the ship in Akureyri. This is a six hour drive through northern Iceland. Ship departs in the evening for Denmark Strait in the north.
Day 2: Sailing day to East Greenland
This is your chance to see seabirds such as kittiwakes and gannets and possibly whales as you sail north and cross the Arctic Circle. As you get close to the coast by evening, you will see the trip's first icebergs of the trip.
Day 3: Historical tour of abandoned Inuit settlement
Today we will sail along the glaciers of Volquart Boons Kyst and may have the chance for a Zodiac cruise to visit basalt columns and ice formations. On Danmark Island in the afternoon, you'll visit 200 year old Inuit villages of the past with well preserved homes and grave sites. The cruise will continue to the west in the evening.
Day 4: RØde Fjord
A Zodiac cruise near the famous iceberg attraction which has spectacular blue and white icebergs against the red of the sediment slopes. Later in the day, sailing through the Rode Fjord with the hope of spotting musk oxen.
Day 5: Icebergs and Arctic hares
You'll start the day with iceberg views over 100 meters high and 1 kilometer long. The cruise will land at Sydkap with chances to see huge Arctic hares.
Day 6: Scoresbysund
A tundra landing in Hurry Inlet. The largest settlement in Scoresbysund with 500 people at Ittoqqortoormiit. Walk through town to catch a glimpse of sled dogs or skins from drying seals. Back on the boat that afternoon you'll see the beautiful Blosseville Coast as you head south.
Day 7: Turner Sound and RØmer Fjord grant
This area is free from ice and allows us to sail far inland as we search for a view of narwhals.
Day 8: Cruising day
Be on the lookout for whales and seabirds and a transition to the night view of the northern lights.
Day 9: Disembark at Akureyri
Take the memories of this unforgettable experience as you disembark. You must request in advance the chartered bus back to Reykjavik city hall.
