Combo: Whale Watching and Rafting

White water rafting on the Hvita is an excellent choice if you are up for some action surrounded by beautiful landscape. The river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. It’s a 7km ride and at one point you even get to jump from a cliff into the river.

Right after the whale watching tour you will be picked up by shuttle bus and driven to Drumbo base camp, which is about 100km from Reykjavik where the river rafting takes place. The total rafting time is 3-4 hours and afterwards you can relax in the sauna and hot tub at Drumbo. After the rafting you will be driven back to your hotel by Arctic Adventures shuttle bus.

Meeting point: Hotel pick-up between 8.15am and 8.45am, returning some 11 hours later. Tour runs from 15 May to 30 September.
Other information: Both modalities last between eight and nine hours. The minimum age for these tours is 18 years.
