Private City Park Tour

A private walking tour in the City Park (Városliget), the first public park of the world.

Itinerary:

We start in Heroes' Square with the most spectacular national monument of Hungary: the Millenary Monument. Then we explore the romantic Vajdahunyad Castle, the «Disneyland of the 19th century», the collection of the architecture styles of the historical Hungarian Kingdom. Finally, we peep into Szechenyi Spa with people bathing in the out-door thermal pools. After the tour, we can take the Millennary Underground, the oldest subway of the continent, for the price of a single public transport ticket, and we can get off at the magnificent Opera House on Andrassy Avenue.

The tour is tailored for those who do not have enough time, money or energy for the longer sightseeing tours. Ideal even for families with small children, for wheelchair users who can not cope stairs on other tours, or for elderly people who walk slow.

After the tour, it is possible to taste some unexpensive local pastries in one the magnificent coffee houses of the city.
