Experience life in Panajachel like a local. Head out in a private van to the Solola Market, a local Panajachel market where you can see how locals go about their daily market shop. While in Solola, we’ll also visit The Mayan Association, a female-only membership association that reinforces the significant role women play in Mayan communities.

 

From there, we’ll hop on local transportation to San Jorge, where a local Mayan family will host you in their home for lunch and a cooking lesson, where you’ll learn authentic local culinary traditions. After you savour the delicious lunch you’ve just cooked, you’ll head out on a cultural tour of the San Jorge village, to see first-hand what life is like here.

 

At this point, your Panajachel tour will end with a trip back to town, and you will return with a heightened sense of local life here, and an unforgettable experience.

Children must be 6 years of age to 11 years inclusively.  Children below the age of 6 are not permitted on this tour. Items of a personal nature, souvenirs, additional (personal) food items at the market, tips/gratuities for the guide.

For cancellation up to 3 days, a full refund will be given. For cancellation up to 1 days, 50% refund will be given.
