INTRODUCTION
We are not a big travel agency but quite simply a sympathetic business which makes it possible to share with you a moment of relaxation in different scenery.
We breed our horses and they are part of our lifes everyday.
We live amongst the last ethnic semi-nomads of Georgia in the High Caucasus, the Tush people.
The Tusheti is, without doubt, one of the last Georgian mountain regions where you will still sense a breath of Shamil, be bewitched by the mysteries and impressions of the life of the locals. You will be filled with wonder by the simplicity and the beauty of this life in symbiosis with the natural elements around it.
COMPANY PRESENTATION
We, the CTC team, are based in Tusheti, a very special region of the High Caucasus. The only access to which is a track carved in cliffs. This enclave of Georgia is isolated by the snow that lies for more than 7 months of the year. The villages, dominated by the magnificent watchtowers, are built entirely in dry stone walling.
A handful of people live there all the year round, completely self sufficient and without electricity or running water.
The rest of the inhabitants are semi-nomadic, the last in Georgia, who use the region as they please for transhumance.
We will lead you on a winding trail on foot to explore these very wild regions, still unspoilt, to visit the local people with whom we keep in close contact and who are some finest riders people.
Among the 2 main guides, one is Tush and has grown up in the Tush mountains…..

ITINERARY
Day 0 to Day 1: Overnight in a hotel in the very center ofTbilisi
Day 1: Tbilisi-Kakheti
Shuamta which is a complex of 2 churches and monastery. The older one dating back from the 6-7th cent and the second one from the 16th cent, Telavi, Tsinandali museum which was the summer house of the prince and writer Alexandre Chavchavadze, Gremi the formerly main city of the Kakheti kingdom. and a church complex from which offers some beautiful frescoes built by the King Levan of Kakheti, Alaverdi cathedral set up in the 6th c. and re built in the 11th century.Overnight by a family at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains
Day 2: Kakheti -Tusheti
Beautiful drive and curiosities.
Day 3-Day 9: Tusheti
7 days hike in very wild and remote part of the Tusheti region.
The trek is self sufficient.
Accomodation: traditional houses and tents.
Day 10: Tusheti-Kakheti
Day 11: Kakheti-Tbilisi: Visit ofTbilisi
Day 11 to Day 12: Overnight in a hotel in the very center ofTbilisi
