Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa. Cairo is also ranked as one of the most densely populated cities in the world. Nicknamed «The City of a Thousand Minarets», Cairo was founded by the Fatimid dynasty in the 10th Century, but the land composing the present-day city was the site of national capitals whose remnants remain visible in parts of Old Cairo.

Cairo is also associated with Ancient Egypt due to its proximity to the ancient cities of Memphis, Giza and Fustat which are nearby to the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. Seeing Cairo is a must for anyone visiting Egypt.

Our trip to Cairo by Plane offers more time looking around the amazing sights of Cairo and less time traveling.

We pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by an air-conditioned bus in the early morning and take you to Sharm airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be met and assissted by our representative.

During this tour your professional Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient Pharaohs!.. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the great sphinx.

Then you will have a break for lunch before going to visit the world renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities Built in neo-classical style, designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The museum exceed 120000 masterpieces ranging from the predynastic Era to the Pharaonic era and the Greco-roman period in Egypt and includes the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddesses.

You may also visit the mummy’s room at the Egyptian Museum for a Background about the Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in Ancient Egypt.

After you have seen the pyramids, sphinx and other amazing sights that Cairo has to offer, you will be given some time for shopping in Cairo.

Then you will be transferred to Cairo domestic airport to fly back to Sharm ElSheikh with a transfer back to your hotel in Sharm
