Excursion to the Middle of the World

We will start at the northern part of the city heading up to the “Middle of the World City” (entrance is included) where the monument that divides the Northern from the Southern Hemisphere will be visited. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. The “Intiñan Museum”, known as the Equinox solar Museum, can also be visited (entrance is not included)

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up available from private addresses or hotels located in the metropolitan district of Quito.
Duration: 5 hours.
Start/opening time: Between 8/8.30am.
Languages: English and Spanish.
