Day-trip from Shanghai to Luzhi Watertown

Luzhi is gifted with favorable terrain and outstanding people. It faces the Wusong River to the north and the Chenghu Lake to the south, and borders on Kunshan City to the east, and Suzhou to the west.

Luzhi was famed to be the Venice of the East for its beautiful waterways and ancient bridges, some of the bridges dated back to the Song Dynasty. A walk in the ancient town Luzhi is said to be a walk into history frozen in time, tranquil and serene.

Itinerary:

Be picked up at your hotel in the morning. 

It takes about 1.5 hours to drive to Luzhi water town. Upon arrival, you will pay a visit at Baoshen temple, Yeshentao tomb, Yeshentao Memorial hall, Shen Residence.

Taste Chinese lunch at local restaurant at noon.

In the afternoon, continue to visit at Waishenkai Rice store, Xiaofangfang Former residence Zhangling park.

Enjoy a boat tour before leaving the town.

Finally, you will be transferred back to Shanghai. End of your unforgettable trip.
