Wine Tour - Colchagua Valley

The Calchagua Valley is home to some of Chile’s finest vineyards and is a fantastic example of the rich winemaking culture that Chile has to offer. With this tour, you will be able to take in some of the fantastic vineyards for yourself and see how the wines are made first-hand. You’ll leave with a real taste of the Chilean culture and will feel like you’ve definitely experienced the best of the amazing country.

Your tour will begin with being picked up from your hotel as you are taken to the town of San Fernando. Once you hit the Colchagua area, you’ll take the link to Santa Cruz and visit the first winery facilities of the tour, the Viu Manent, on a traditional horse-drawn cart. The Viu Manent winery is in the heart of the Colchagua Valley and is home to some of Chile’s most respectable wines and is certainly one of the highlights of the tour. The horses will take you across the vines corridors, allowing you to become lost in the vineyards themselves.

After the Viu Manent, the next winery you visit is down to your own personal choice. You will be able to choose from several of the many vineyards in the Valley, from Mont Gras to Casa Lapostol. This tour is a definitive tour of the many wineries that the Colchagua Valley has to offer and gives you a brilliant insight into the winemaking processes within Chile’s culture. It’s certainly not one to pass up!
