A journey of almost 100 kilometers in which we follow the road formed between the Casa Blanca and Osorno volcanoes.
Starting at the province of Osorno we enter the Puyehue National Park towards the Bertín lagoon, our base camp for the ascension of the Casa Blanca volcano. The descent takes us south to the Rupanco Lake. At his east shore, in Las Gaviotas, we will be welcomed by a local family, to continue our way towards the Todos Los Santos Lake, passing “Los Quetros”, the hot springs of “El Callao” and surrounded by incredible views of the Puntiagudo volcano. We sail over the Todos Los Santos lake to enjoy the sunset our campsite at the beach, and continue with the first lights of the next day our way around the volcano Osorno from south to north to reach the path “Paso de la Desolación”, our next resting place before the ascension of the Osorno volcano. We climb the volcano Osorno from the north face and descend the normal route to reach our transport to Puerto Varas at the mountain hut “Teski”.
Program Add-ons: Beginning of the program in Santiago. Includes: Day 0: Airport transfer, City tour of Santiago, Luxury bus from Santiago-Valdivia and Puerto Varas-Santiago (overnight service). Day 7: Luxury Bus from Puerto Varas-Santiago (night service), Day 8: “Santiago-Valparaiso”-Tour or “Wine Tour” visiting Causino Macul and Concha y Toro vinyards, Hotel***. Day 1
We meet in Puerto Varas (or Osorno) and travel overland to the Puyehue Nationalpark. Trekking 2-3 hours to the Bertín lagoon (5,5km), setting up the camp.
Accommodation: Two person tents.
Meals: Snack, dinner & breakfast at the campsite.
Transport: Private.
Day 2
From the Bertín lagoon we hike towards the summit of the Casa Blanca volcano (1.990m). The ascension is a 3-4 hours trekking and does not require technical expertise. We descend to the crater “Raihuen” where we built our 2ndcampsite (2-3h).

Meals: Breakfast, snack, dinner, at campsite.
Day 3
With the first lights of the day we start our descent to the south-east shore of the Rupanco lake. The 16km trekking leads us in 4-6 hours to a place called “Las Gaviotas” where a local family will warmly welcome us.

Meals: Breakfast at campsite, snack, dinner with local family.
Day 4
Our fourth day will be the longest (in distance) in the journey – 23km. The first 9 km, ascending to the lagoon “Los Quetros” – a beautiful place to enjoy the snack and regain energies to reach the hot springs “El Callao”. There the family Fuentealba awaits us with a comfortable bad, warm food and the possibility to soak in termic waters.

Día 5
Today we arrive to the Lake Todos los Santos! It will be 14km to reach the port of “El Rincon”, crossing hanging bridges and enjoying the beauty of the Puntiagudo volcano. We sail over the lake towards the Osorno volcano to the rest of an old lahar to built our campsite.

Transport: Local boat.
Day 6
The trekking of today leads us from the south to the north of the Osorno volcano following the path “Paso de la Desolación” (12km). We will enjoy the beauty of the flora of the Osorno volcano and the views of the Todos los Santo lake.

Meals: Breakfast, snack, dinner at the campsite.
Day 7
Our last day we start with the sunrise. We will try to reach the summit of the beautiful and technical more difficult volcano Osorno following the north face route. We will descent down the normal route at the westface towards the Teski mountain shelter, where we take a deep breath after our 100km journey by feet through South of Chile – and drive back to Puerto Varas.
