Portillo Full Day, Tour in Private

Your excursion to the Portillo Resort takes you high into the Andes mountains. Portillo is located 145 kms (90 miles) north of Santiago, close to the Argentine border. It is nestled within a high Andean valley between the peaks of Mount Ojos de Agua (4.239 mts) and Mount La Parva (4.852 mts). The highest mountain in the Americas, Aconcagua (6.957 mts), is also very close by. Here you can stroll through one of Chile’s finest ski resorts and taste the excellent cuisine offered by the hotel restaurant (Optional). Enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and the emerald coloured Inca Lagoon (also seen from the resort restaurant). There will be ample time to go outside and explore the area. On the return trip to Valparaiso you will pass through scenic fruit-packing and wine-producing areas of the Aconcagua Valley.
