Description:

Early departure from your Hotel / Hostel (Puerto Varas / Puerto Montt), toward the Natural Monument «Lahuen Nadi», which was created on January 10, 2000, with an area of ​​200 ha. This park is located 15 minutes from Puerto Montt, capital of the Lake District, Chilean North Patagonia.

Once in place, we will have a nice 1-hour walk, where we can appreciate its nature, tree line where the main species is the Larch (Fitzroya cuppresoides), accompanied by coigue, cinnamon, tepa, luma, myrtle and tepú, among other species belonging to the temperate rainforests of southern Chile. During our walk we will see and hear the following birds: chucao, the Huet-Huet, the Diucón the rayadito, the choroy, the mountain monkey, the thrush, the mandolin, the treile, the tiuque, the traro.

We passed Lahuen Nadi and we move into the Puerto Montt city tour takes us through the streets, villas, lifestyles and their markets so typical of this city.

We begin our «local experience», visiting one of their markets «President Ibáñez». You will see and experience the local reality of the people who do not appear in the «conventional Guidebooks».

During our walk we accompany the typical daily life of local people and places, that if you are interested… Share their life with you. Visit the center of the city, its square and Cathedral.

Finally, the most famous and well known in this city… Angelmó, the most comprehensive market in Southern Chile. You also need interaction with local people and tourists to the islands… Here we will have a delicious meal with a good local «cold tea» (white wine glass and tell the locals).

We started walking back the Angelmo Craft Fair, where you can buy some souvenirs or take photos of the inland sea of ​​Puerto Montt. Return to your hotel.
