Come join us on a half day archaeological tour of San Pedro de Atacama, and explore how the culture or the Atacameña o Licananta began. Known as the archaeological capital of Chile, we venture into the most important archaeological sites in the area, as well as bask in the beauty of its’ attractive desert landscape and rich history. Visit an Atacama Farm, were we will experience how a family has combined ancestral traditions of agriculture and livestock with tourism, as well as allowing us to sample their goods. From there, we will continue on to one of the most ancient settlements within the Salt Flats, Aldea de Tular, where one can observe remnants of ancient cultural traditions that have stood the test of time over the millennia. For our final destination, we make our way to the centre of San Pedro, where we can delve into it's Catholic history, and observe ancient traditions that have been passed on through many generations.
