Nepal has reopened and has dropped all Covid related restrictions. Proof of vaccination and/or a negative test result is no longer required to enter the country. 

Pre-arrival & Arrival: 

  1. Check with your airline if they have any additional Covid requirements. Airlines at this point generally don’t have any extra requirements but it’s worth checking especially if you’re visiting other countries before the trip or transiting through multiple countries.

Departure from Nepal:

  1. Check on the requirements of the country that you are traveling to from Nepal. Rapid tests are available in Nepal and can generally be processed the same day. 

Safety Protocol in Nepal
Our guides and office team in Nepal have been fully briefed on Covid-19 safety. We will be taking the following steps to ensure your safety during your trip.

  1. All team members have been trained in Covid-19 prevention protocol.
  2. Cleaning and disinfection of all trekking gear and equipment after every trek.
  3. Proper hand sanitization of crew members and guides.
  4. All food packaging and cooking areas will be properly cleaned and sanitized.

Rescheduling Policy

The situation with the Coronavirus has many travelers very nervous and is a common question from our guests. We understand that personal safety concerns or country specific travel restrictions may make travel currently impossible.  So, what are your options if you need to cancel?

Reschedule Free of Cost. We will apply your deposit to a new date. You don’t need to decide on the date now. We will hold your booking deposit until you’re ready to plan whether it’s later this year or even in 2024. Please notify us of your cancellation at least 30 days before your trip.

Travel Insurance. Many travel insurance policies cover lost trip costs including deposits. We will help you with any necessary documentation for your claim.

Choose a Different Trip. We lead treks and tours to Tanzania, Patagonia, Antarctica, Bhutan, Peru and Ecuador. If you would like to change your destination we can apply your deposit towards a different trip.
