Whale-Watching Cruise and Hillarys Boat Harbour Day Trip from Perth

Head north from Perth to Hillarys Boat Harbour for a whale-watching cruise off the Sunset Coast. Come face-to-face with magnificent humpback whales during their annual migration along the Western Australian coastline. You have the option to join the 2-hour whale-watching cruise at Hillarys Boat Harbour or to include round-trip transfers from Perth which will allow you plenty of free time to enjoy the cafes, bars, restaurants and shops of Hillarys Boat Harbour. There is also the option to include entry to the Aquarium of Western Australia.

After pickup from your Perth hotel, board a small, air-conditioned coach and travel 15 miles (25 km) north of Perth to Hillarys Boat Harbour on the Sunset Coast, listening to commentary about the area from your driver. When you arrive at Hillarys, a popular marina and entertainment destination, you'll have plenty of free time to explore the many shops and cafes.

At 11:45am make your way to the south side of Hillarys Boat Harbour and step aboard the boat for your two-hour whale-spotting tour. This tour runs seasonally from mid-September to the end of November to coincide with the whales’ annual migration along the Western Australia coast.

Your cruise will return at about 2:15pm to Hillarys, where you have free time at Hillarys to have lunch (own expense), relax in the sunshine or visit the Aquarium of Western Australia (entry included if option selected). The aquarium’s highlights include seals, dolphins and rays from Western Australia’s turquoise waters. If you choose this option, you’ll depart for Perth at approximately 5:30pm.
