Day 1: Ayers Rock Airport – Ayers Rock (D)
After arriving at Ayers Rock Airport, you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your leisure, then enjoy one of the Australian outback’s most iconic experiences at the award-winning Sounds of Silence dinner. Dine under the stars on a gourmet Australian meal of canapés, a BBQ buffet and dessert. Enjoy the accompanying cultural entertainment, then join an expert stargazer on a tour of the constellations twinkling in the clear desert night skies above.

Day 2: Ayers Rock -- Kata Tjuta -- Ayers Rock
Wake up early to watch Uluru change color as the sun rises over the desert, and then take a guided tour around the base of Uluru. See important Aboriginal sites and hear the traditional legends behind the creation of Uluru, and then visit the Mutitjulu Waterhole to see ancient Aboriginal rock art and hear about the local flora and fauna depicted over the millennia. Learn more about the Aboriginal legends and lifestyle at the Uluru–Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can also see locally made arts and crafts.

In the afternoon, travel to the magical domes of Kata Tjuta (formerly known as the Olgas), with a stop en route to enjoy panoramic views of these monolithic rocks sprouting out of the desert. At Kata Tjuta, take a guided walk along a former creek bed winding between the towering domes at Walpa Gorge. As the sun dips toward the horizon, return to Ayers Rock to enjoy wine and snacks as you watch the unforgettable sight of the sun setting behind Uluru.
