Day 1: Broome -- Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community -- Lombadina Community (L, D)
Your three-day visit to Cape Leveque begins with an early morning departure from Broome by 4WD. Listen to your guide's fascinating commentary as you travel through the Dampier Peninsula, a remote Aboriginal-owned coastal area of red desert crossed only by dirt tracks. Stop for morning tea at the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, and admire the shimmering pearl-shell altar of the community's Beagle Bay church. Continue along the coast to enjoy lunch at the welcoming Lombadina Community, known for its rustic timber church. In the afternoon, travel to Cape Leveque (locally known as Kooljaman) and set up camp by the edge of the Indian Ocean. Watch the sun set over the ocean, and enjoy a BBQ under the stars at your campsite.

Day 2: Cape Leveque -- Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm (B, L, D)
After breakfast at your Cape Leveque campsite, spend the morning as you please, relaxing on the white-sand beaches of beautiful Cape Leveque, exploring the coastline, going for a swim or snorkeling (equipment provided). Then head to a remote pearling center at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, Australia's oldest pearl farm. Enjoy lunch and hear the fascinating history behind the Kimberley region's pearling industry as you take a tour of the farm. In the afternoon, spend some relaxing time visiting the pearl gallery, explore the property from the sea on a patrol boat ride, or take a boat ride (own expense) to experience the region's amazing giant tides. At the end of the day, return to your campsite at Cape Leveque to spend another tranquil evening around the campfire.

Day 3: One Arm Point Community -- Broome (B, L)
Following breakfast at your campsite, join your Aboriginal guide on a fascinating bushwalk through Bardi 'saltwater' country. Discover the indigenous foods known as bush tucker and hear stories of the Aborigines' lifestyle and legends. Continue to the One Arm Point Community to see where fish, pearl and trochus shells are bred in the community's aquaculture hatchery. Enjoy wonderful views over the Buccaneer Archipelago, and admire the giant tidal flows that occur in the Kimberley region. Your three-day Kimberley excursion ends with a return trip to Broome in the late afternoon. Keep a lookout for wildlife emerging to feed at dusk, and arrive in Broome at around 6:30pm.
