Go sailing, sunbathing and swimming in paradise on an idyllic two-night excursion to South Molle Adventure Island in the Whitsundays. Enjoy the ultimate thrill of a full day spent sailing on the Great Barrier Reef, with a stop at the world-famous white sands of Whitehaven Beach, and go snorkeling over corals with tropical fish. With accommodation and most meals included, you'll also have free time to relax, go swimming, try paddleboarding or play a round of golf.
Day 1: Airlie Beach -- South Molle Adventure Island (D)
Departing Abell Point Marina at Airlie Beach at 2pm, set sail for the Koala Adventure Resort on South Molle Adventure Island. Settle into the resort and have free time to join in island activities such as coconut husking, golf, tennis and paddleboarding. Take a sunset bushwalk or go for a swim in the 22-feet-deep (25-meter) lap pool. Enjoy dinner in the Discovery Bar, then get into the island swing of things with entertainment and a theme party.
Overnight: your choice of six-person share room or twin-share reef or ocean room
Day 2: South Molle Adventure Island -- Great Barrier Reef (B, L, D)
After an early breakfast, board a catamaran for a magical day of sailing in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Relax on the cruise, then drop anchor at Whitehaven Beach, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Take a walk on the incredibly white sand and paddle in the turquoise lagoon. Don't forget your camera so you can photograph the famous white-sand beach! After lunch is served on board the boat, sail to some of the Great Barrier Reef’s best snorkeling spots. Swim and snorkel among tropical fish and the corals in the color-drenched Great Barrier Reef. After your day on the reef, return to South Molle Adventure Island at around 5pm. Relax and freshen up, then enjoy dinner in the Discovery Bar and that night’s theme party.

Day 3: South Molle Adventure Island -- Airlie Beach (B, L)
After breakfast at your resort, take a guided bushwalk to Spion Kop. Voted the number-one bushwalk by Australian Geographic magazine, the walk takes you along a track through grasslands to a vantage point with views of South Molle Adventure Island’s rainforest and the Whitsunday Islands. Return to the resort for fish feeding and snorkeling, followed by lunch. In the early afternoon, take the boat back to Airlie Beach, returning to Abell Point Marina at 2pm.
