Feel San Telmo's unique atmosphere. The tasty local cuisine and visit the significant bars. We will visit a Tango Club (Café La Ideal, or Centro Cultural Torquato Tasso, or Buenos Ayres Club or Club Independencia) in order to learn how to dance the tango or just enjoy yourself watching the common people dancing while you listen to the traditional tango orchestra play live. Or maybe you prefer to have a drink first in every pub in San Telmo, there's plenty of them.
There are two types of places where you can watch tango shows. The so-called tango shows is a dinner and show (orchestra , singers and dancers). Above all, very glamorous, highest quality, the prices are in U.S. dollars. Sometimes the prices are very expensive with the dinner. And also, there are the traditional tango clubs , which are a kind of school and then tango disco, where normal people can learn (9pm o'clock) and dance (11pm o'clock), and those like me not able to dance, just watch. In some of these places some days the traditional orchestra plays too, and you can even order something to eat and drink at normal prices.
Dinner/drinks and transportation is not included. We'll have a meeting point in San Telmo.
